About this integration
Phone orders are still real money for a lot of restaurants, and they are still the slowest order a staff member can take. CallerID.com hardware fixes the front half of that: the moment the phone rings, NX Restaurant pops the guest’s profile, address, and order history on screen.
Whoever picks up starts with the guest’s name and last order instead of a blank ticket and five questions. Repeat customers get a noticeably better experience, delivery addresses stop getting mistyped, and the call ends faster.
The Whozz Calling? units handle multiple lines at once and connect by serial or ethernet, so nothing about your phone service has to change. Analog lines work directly, and the Vertex unit covers VoIP running unencrypted SIP. Hardware is purchased from CallerID.com; we will help you size and configure it.
