About this integration
NX Kitchen is the kitchen display system built into NX Restaurant, included in your flat monthly rate at no extra cost. There is no KDS module to license, no per-screen fee, and no middleware sitting between the POS and the line — the order your server rings in is the ticket your kitchen sees, in the same system, with nothing to sync.
That matters most when the rush hits. Tickets appear at the right station the moment they are fired, organized by course so the line can time a table instead of guessing at it, with color-coded timers that make a sitting ticket obvious from across the kitchen. Multi-station routing sends fryer items to the fryer and cold items to the cold line automatically, and bump and recall clears finished tickets without losing the history behind them.
Because it is native rather than integrated, there is no delay between the ring-in and the fire, and no class of failure where the POS and the KDS disagree about what was ordered. Add screens as you grow — a two-person brunch operation and a high-volume dinner service run the same software, and neither one pays extra for it.
